Picture Perfect

Knowing we couldn't possibly store all of Claire's beloved art work, I took digital pictures of them and promised to post them for all to see. Now she'll have a permanent record of her favorite pictures she did in kindergarten. I'm hoping to do this at the end of each school year so instead of having boxes of papers to store we just have a CD. Much more condusive to apartment living. I just have to say too that her level of drawing at age 5 is about where I am at my age. I still like to say that my older sisters inherited all of the art genes leaving none for me. Of course this is nonsense in the genetic world but offers some relief when embarassed about trying to draw a dog for my children and they ask, "What is that, Mommy?"
