June in a Nutshell

So I've neglected my blog. Can you blame me? I mean, if you're sitting at your computer one minute, then talking on the phone the next finding out that you're being evicted from your apartment with only 30 days to find a new place and move, don't you think that warrants blog neglect?

Well, if that doesn't constitute reason for blog neglect, how about I throw this into the mixture. After desperately searching for a place and finally finding one, the Bishop calls you and extends you the calling to be the new Primary President. (Good thing the apartment we found was in ward boundaries, otherwise that would be the easiest way to "get out" of the calling). But due to other restructuring, vacations, etc, this isn't going to happen for a few weeks.

Still not enough? OK, throw in there almost 2 weeks of vacation that had been planned, and I wasn't giving up. Packing would have to wait. Vacation was fun, although being a single parent on vacation isn't always easy.

I see you're still looking for more. All right then. I get back from vacation, I am scheduled to move on July 5th, and we do. My body may not recover. Was there even a 4th? I think I was packing. Then July 6th is your first day as Primary President. Your counselors AND secretary are all out of town. So your tired, nervous body runs the primary, with just minor confusion, then comes home from church and crashes.

If I don't have enough excuses, let me know and I'll send you a picture of all my boxes yet to be unpacked. You're always welcome to come help. (:

So that's my June in a nutshell. I'll try and do more specific posts later, but at least for now you know we haven't ditched the blog site altogether.

When it rains it pours, right! I wish we lived closer so I could help watch the kids, they play so well together! On the bright side now that you have had the chance to pack and get rid of things, you will be so much more organized!
